Art critic, writer, freelance curator

Patagonia, 1968. Art critic and independent curator, after studying Art and Film in Paraguay, Spain and Germany, he works establishing cultural connections of artists and themes between Latin America and Europe. Author of exhibitions, he has published texts on art and film with an emphasis on experimental practices.

Audiovisual programmer for the last twenty years in Spain (Casa de América-Catalunya, Casa Asia, LOOP, Kosmópolis), in France (Festival Signes de Nuit), in Germany (Berlinale, Dokfest München, Filmtage Tübingen, Kino Latino Köln), Holland (Joris Ivens Foundation), Italy (Academia de España), Argentina and Paraguay. Co-founder of the landscape and performance art initiative Jardin de Ortigas. Fernando lives and works between Cologne (Germany) and Asunción (Paraguay)
