Elisa Arteta is a dancer, choreographer and co-director of the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Huarte. Her studies are based on the body inside and out: the relationship between the mind and the body, how political ideologies cross our bodies or how we can offer resistance to these normativities through movement.

Her work has been exhibited in spaces such as the Centro de Estudios del Museo Reina Sofía, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, or the Akademie Der Künste in Berlin. She has obtained several artistic residencies, such as La Casa Encendida and CA2M, Incheon Art Platform (South Korea), Parkinprogress (Nottingham), MAM (Marrakech), Djerassi (California), or Leal.lav (Tenerife). Since 2010 she has been co-director of the INMEDIACIONES festival, and since 2016 she is co-director of the Centro Huarte artistic production center.
