Diego Lara studies graphic design and currently develops his activity with his own studio in the areas of editorial design, visual identity and typography. He participates and collaborates with design studios in projects within the field of culture, art, photography and illustration, carrying out personal projects, as well as commissions and collaborations with small companies, brands and studios locally and internationally. He coordinates the publishing house MadLibro, specializing in books with an important artistic component. He teaches typography, editorial design and sustainability at the Istituto Europeo di Design, Visual Arts, Madrid. Parallel to his work as a graphic designer, he develops his personal artistic project, conceived as a refuge from the urgency of everyday life and based on the search for the harmony of the environment and tranquility in nature. His work has previously been shown in two exhibitions at Mad is Mad gallery (Madrid), DEspacios (2017) and Geometría inesperada (2021); and in his first solo exhibition, Una rama tembló (2022), at Espacio Local (Gijón).
