Dandara Catete (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), a graduate in Sculpture from Wesleyan University (Connecticut, USA), lives and works in Madrid. She researches domestic elements and other objects related to intimacy and everyday life, exploring the poetic and political possibilities of everyday life. Her works explore themes such as housing rights, affective architecture, and gender issues through installations and sculptures, as well as painting, audiovisuals, educational workshops, and cultural production. She has participated in residencies at Collegium (Arévalo), Salzburger Kunstverein (Salzburg), Tabacalera (Madrid), and Cittadellarte (Biella). Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in Brazil, the United States, and Spain.
