Cristian Guardia is a multidisciplinary artist born in Maracay, Venezuela, in 1982.

Guardia studied architecture at the Simón Bolívear University (1999-2003) and experimental photography at the Nelson Garrido Organization in Caracas (2002 – 2003).

His work expresses concerns about tools for the configuration and legitimation of identity. Especially interested in exoticism, he humorously addresses the narrative potential of the landscape and the tense relationships between exhibitionism and anthropological voyeurism.
