Researcher, cultural manager and in charge of the communication and promotion of events in the field of culture (visual and performing arts), I studied Art History at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. I later went on to study a Master’s degree specialising in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture at the Reina Sofía Museum (MNCARS), focusing on cultural management and mediation. My Master’s thesis, entitled Clandestine Voices: Noli me legere. Jean Dubuffet and writing as emancipatory poetry of the homme du commun, aimed to question writing, or more broadly language, in the field of visual art.
I am currently a Social Sciences PhD student at the Ecole des Hautes Études (EHESS) in Paris. My thesis, L’émergence du sens dans la poésie française contemporaine: entre performativité de la langue et action de l’écoute, raises a linguistic questioning of the objet langagier through sound and voice.
I have been a co-founding member of the curatorial collective Equipo COMA (2017-2018) in which initiatives have been developed to analyse and debate the professional reality of emerging artists and young curators. Among other activities, we have collaborated with artists and cultural agents through curatorial interventions (ArtBattalion Festival by WhiteLab), exhibition projects and publications (Puntum Ludis. Sequences of a life in Alaró, Mallorca), the performance Intrusos at MNCARS and the management of reflection workshops. I have participated in the mediation and coordination of the international festival Paris Internationale (2017), the performing arts festival ESZENIT (2018) and, for the current 2019 edition, as mediator of the international event La Nuit Blanche in Paris. During my internship in the Cultural Activities department of the MNCARS, I have collaborated in the conception of radio capsules and the research and writing of the content of the website in tune with the seminars, cycles and exhibitions. In the field of galleries, I have worked as an editor of the portrait d’artiste for galleries in Paris and as a representative of the physical space at the Pomelo gallery (2019). During my internship in Paris, I worked on the design and launch of Meero Masters (2018-2019), an interactive and educational platform dedicated to photography and video. I currently write articles for artistic, aesthetic and scientific magazines such as Blind and Made in Mind (2018-2019), and I am also in charge of communication and promotion of performing arts and street art projects for the association Five Monkey Productions.
I have been collaborating with PROYECTOR writing Festival texts since 2018.
