Claudia Bonollo (Rome, Italy) is an artist, architect, and researcher based in Madrid. Trained at the International University of Art of Venice (UIA) and the Venice Faculty of Architecture, where she received an Honorable Mention, she develops a transdisciplinary practice situated at the intersection of art, perception, color, nature, and human experience.

Founder and director of Atelier Cromático, an international research platform and experimental laboratory dedicated to the study of color, she explores the potential of color as a perceptual language and a tool for knowledge. Her work investigates the relationships between imagination, memory, identity, synesthesia, and transformation, articulating projects that integrate image, sound, space, and participation.

Winner of the 2024 Arte Laguna Prize Special Award and recognized for her career achievements at the 2025 Luxembourg Art Prize, she gives lectures and seminars on color, perception, and biophilic design at national and international institutions.

Among her research projects, The Imagined Body (2001–2026) stands out, a multimedia cosmology inspired by the links between body, imagination, and perception; The Route of Life, a permanent installation developed for the Official College of Physicians of Madrid; Chromatic Portraits, a series of audiovisual cartographies of identity; and Intimate Color, an editorial and interactive project that proposes interiority as a landscape where any metamorphosis is possible.

Her work understands color not as a decorative element, but as a living structure capable of activating new forms of perception, experience, and consciousness.
