Independent artist. Photographer, director and performer artist, born and based in Italy. Chiara Mazzocchi captures inner processes through self-portrayals (photo and video), operating between transcendence, awakening and shamanism. All his works are based on the “State of Presence” and awareness as a self-therapy of «listening condition» connected to the present moment, the “here and now” and at the invisible energies. It’s a transcendental exploration process, guided by the right side of the brain, home of our instinct, perception, intuition and emotional communication which allows to make the invisible visible inside the photographic rectangle. The inner space of connection with the cosmos becomes the place of perception, which she defines as «Inner room», sacred place where she can freely offer herself without duality, fear, judgment. Chiara Mazzocchi founded the “Prano-Photography» method to serve personal growth and development and the practice of presence through the camera. Imaginal approach serves the path of “soul making» by allowing the real to be experienced in a dematerialized. Her pictures and video-art works travel across the globe through exhibits and screenings, festivals, conferences and fairs, earning honorable mentions, plaques and jury awards. Important printed features, and publications as “Vogue Italia”, and some artworks project are currently leased for educational purposes to the Brown University of USA (Providence) and Academy of Art in Bologna (IT).
