Born in Barreiro, Portugal, 1969.

Director, producer and visual artist.

Architect from Lisbon University in 1995 and Master of Arts in Scenography, Central Saint Martin’s College in London 2003, where he presented his first video installation “THIRD NATURE” following his theses with the same title.

In 2009 directed his first film: “People From The House – Monitoring an Architectural Work”, premiered at the festival DocLisboa 2009.

In 2012 directed «SYRIA» premiered on Fuso Festival, Lisbon, a hybrid video art-documental piece, building the violence of the war based on the crossed images between a peaceful manifestation of Syrian emigrants in Athens-Greece and internet footage of the first year of the conflict in Syria.

In 2013 directed 5 films about 5 works of the portuguese architectural studio ARX.

Between 2011 and 2014 co directed “UMA-Atlantic Ultra Marathon”, a film and a video installation that have been presented around the world: Temps d’Images Festival in Lisbon 2011; Athens Video Art Festival in 2012; Proyector International Video Art Festival in Madrid and Milan 2012; FIVAC Camaguey-Cuba 2013; Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation in Bogotá 2014; Centro ExTeresa Arte Actual in México DF 2014; Video Bardo Festival, at the Spanish Cultural Centre in Buenos Aires 2014; San Ignacio de Loyola University in Cusco and Telefónica Foundation in Lima 2014.

In 2014 he conceived the musical project “Al Mu’tamid, The Poet King of the Al Andalus”, that is successfully being presented in many world stages such as Teatro São Luiz in Lisbon, Teatro Bellas Artes en Madrid, IMA in Paris, and Sala São Paulo, in São Paulo-Brazil, considered one of the ten best concert halls in the all world. The musical will be followed by the documentary «The Poet King»in 2018. In 2015 he created his own production company – TRANSIBERIA PRODUCTIONS.
