Everything is burning. No one is watching.
Fun Facts of Movie
A black canvas becomes the scene of a frozen fire, where firefighters extinguish the flames in slow motion while the crowd watches from a distance, with strangeness, with indifference. There is no catastrophe, no urgency. There is a muted spectacle, a fire without witnesses.
The soundscape is sustained by an improvisation on the organ, performed by me. It is an intimate, fragile, almost liturgical sound that accompanies and dismantles the image: as if someone were praying for what no one sees anymore. The music does not illustrate, it resists. It is one more flame.
Through this visual and sound choreography, the work speaks of the speed with which the world burns what does not fit, of the place of art amid the noise, and of the need to look again. Because even when we do not see it, everything continues to burn.
