Magdalena Correa is a visual artist born in Chile. In 1998 she studied Pedagogy in Plastic Arts at the Metropolitan University of Chile. Later, she graduated in Fine Arts from the Universidad Católica de Chile (95). In 2003 she received her doctorate in Photography from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Barcelona, ​​Spain. And in 2019, she studied a Master in Film Photography Direction, at ECAM, Madrid.

She has worked as a Professor of Fine Arts at the Antonio de Nebrija University, Madrid. She has given a lecture on the «Bangkok» project, at Casa Asia, Barcelona. She has been a teacher in Photography at the TAI University School, Madrid. She has been the director of a Master Class «Territories and Existence» at the TAI University School, Madrid, where she has also carried out an Intensive Workshop, «Your urban landscape as an artistic project». She has been Director of the Seminar «art and nature» for the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Finis Térrae University, Santiago, Chile, etc.
