Biviana Chauchi (Perú)
Biviana Chauchi, Lima – Perú (1992). Graduada de la carrera de Comunicación Audiovisual y Medios Interactivos en la UPC (Perú/2015). Cursó el taller de Diseño de producción de arte en cine y televisión en la EICTV (Cuba/2018). Desde el 2014 ha trabajado en el departamento de arte de diversas películas como “Todos Somos Marineros” (2017) y “El Caso Monroy” (2021), entre otras. Actualmente investiga los límites físicos del cine como materia y las diversas formas de transformar y experimentar con las imágenes y el sonido. Esta búsqueda la llevó a estudiar en LAV (Madrid/2021) donde creó distintas piezas entre ellas su película “Otras ciudades” (2022) que ha sido proyectada en la cineteca de Madrid y en la muestra de cine experimental Asimtria en diversas provincias de Perú.

She attended the workshop of Art Production Design in Film and Television at EICTV (Cuba/2018). Since 2014 she has worked in the art department of several films such as “Todos Somos Marineros” (2017) and “El Caso Monroy” (2021), among others. She is currently researching the material limits of film and the different ways of transforming and experimenting with images and sound. This search led her to study at LAV (Madrid/2021) where she created different pieces. Among them her film «Otras ciudades» (2022) that has been screened at the Cineteca de Madrid and at the experimental film show Asimtria in various provinces of Peru.
