Lenora de Barros has been building a unique career in the context of Brazilian contemporary art since the 1970s. The visual poetry “Arte em videotexto” was one of her first works, exhibited at the 17th São Paulo Biennial (1983). Since then, his creations have explored the possibilities of video art, performance, photography, sound installation and the construction of objects. The audiovisual language is particularly marked by a poetic narrative through vocal interpretation.
