Arantxa Boyero was born in Palma, Mallorca, in 1982. Lives and works in Colonia de Sant Jordi, Mallorca. She combines her work as an artist with that of a technical photographer. She practices yoga, she reads bad books and walks a lot. She loves plants, eating, and the Internet.

«My projects are rituals that connect or disconnect me from the banalities and obsessions of modern society.
I am interested in people and sensations; I study human behavior by observing the behavior of other living things, such as cats and plants. Through mindfulness techniques, I play with my close environment in order to question traditions and reflect on issues such as intimacy and relationships.
I drink from anecdotes, readings and accumulation of experiences. I enjoy processes and experimentation. I use space as an excuse, symbology as a seed, repetition as a principle and color as a pedestal.
I call all my projects mini-actions and I use techniques such as photography, performance or video to carry them out, waiting for time and the viewer to complete them.»
