Monolith

«Monolith» puts technology in direct relationship with its own raw material, the mountain. The video shows landscapes that make direct reference to the extraction of the minerals necessary for the creation of the technological consumer devices that make our techno-society possible. Its title alludes to the megalithic elements that gave rise to litolatry, thus giving rise to a possible evolution towards ‘technolatry’ in which we find ourselves immersed, where society is defined based on its technological capacity.
