Victoria Ioudina, born in 1999 in Barcelona, she graduated in cinema and specialized in film production by ESCAC.
During 2020 until the expiration of the year 2022, she carried out her first work entitled Hitomi, a hybrid between short film and video art that is projected inside an art installation, which represents an old and abandoned cinema. The project deals with the danger of extinction of movie theaters, and it was exhibited between November and December 2022 at the Lab 36 art gallery. Hitomi has participated in the Loop Barcelona Festival, within the City Screen section. At the same time, Hitomi has taken part in the Barcelona Philosophy Festival.
The artist is interested in unconventional formats within the audiovisual area, for which reason her final degree project was a short film entitled The Deaf Cry of the Trees, filmed in vertical format (currently in the distribution phase).
From now on, Victoria Ioudina will continue exploring new methods, codes and languages of artistic cinematographic and video expression, through projects that stand out for innovation, interaction with the public and aesthetic sensibility.
