Vive y trabaja en la Ciudad de México.
Es egresado de la Escuela de Cine de Vancouver VFS, tiene una licenciatura del Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos CUEC UNAM, y realizó una maestría en Cine y Artes en el Estudio Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo de Francia, LE FRESNOY.
Con su obra de arte ha participado en el 3er Foro SAPS de Arte Público, la Feria de Arte Contemporáneo MACO 04/06/11 y el 2do Concurso de Artes Visuales SIVAM en la Ciudad de México. La Feria de Arte Contemporáneo ARCO 05 en Madrid, España, la Feria de Arte FRIEZE 06 en Londres Reino Unido, la VII Convocatoria Internacional para Artistas Jóvenes de la Galería Luis Adelantado en Valencia, España, el Festival de la Imagen de Toronto 2002/2010, la Bienal de La Habana 03 , Bienal Internacional de Arte México-California 09/10 y II Bienal de Arte Joven de Moscú 2010.
Su obra también ha sido expuesta individual y colectivamente en museos y galerías internacionales como el Museo Experimental Universitario «El Eco», el Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, el Centro Cultural España y el Museo Tamayo, todos en la Ciudad de México. El Museo de Arte Contemporáneo «Zamek Ujazdowski» en Varsovia, Polonia, el Museo Nacional de Arte «Reina Sofía» y «La Casa Encendida» en Madrid, España y el Espacio de Arte «Fundación Telefónica» en Buenos Aires, Argentina, entre otros.
Sus películas han sido seleccionadas en Festivales Internacionales de Cine como FICCO, DISTRITAL y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia en México. Festival Internacional de Cine Clermont-Ferrand en Francia, INDIELISBOA en Portugal, Festival de Cine Tabor en Croacia, Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Beijing en China y Festival Internacional de Cine de Hiroshima en Japón. Fue un Talento de la Berlinale en 2018.

The Contemporary Art Fair ARCO 05 in Madrid, Spain, the FRIEZE 06 Art Fair in London UK, the VII International Call for Young Artists of the Luis Adelantado Gallery in Valencia, Spain, the Image Festival of Toronto 2002 / 2010, the Havana Biennial 03, the International Art Biennial of Mexico-California 09/10 and the 2nd Moscow Biennial of Young Art 2010.
