An unexpected visit is a short melodramatic and comic video piece about the yearning for a vanishing love. In a split screen format, the protagonist’s world is shattered by an encounter with a former lover. The visible chroma key character embodies the invisible, it is what is not supposed to be seen; but its emotional insight is universal. In the end, we all see what we want to see and create particular realities we feel comfortable living in.
