MIT BORRÁS – Coordinación
BFA por la UCM y especializado en Kunst- und Kulturmanagement en Berlin, desarrolló su investigación en Media Art en la Twente University en Enschede, (2006). Durante éste periodo participa intensamente de la escena holandesa. Se traslada a Madrid donde su obra se vincula al panorama del arte contemporáneo madrileño, coordina su trabajo como artista con la dirección de producción de festivales de videoarte y realización de proyectos como comisario (arte) independiente. En 2010 se traslada a Berlín a la residencia Glogauair y dirige junto a Rachel Lamot la galería Fünf Galerie. Ha sido coordinador de proyectos culturales de media art y curador el Instituto Cervantes en Berlín. Actualmente compagina su obra con su colaboración como crítico de arte en la revista Neo2.
Su obra se expone internacionalmente en el Hara Museum, Tokio (2010), Kreuzberg Pavillon, Alemania (2013) y Noruega (2016), Fonoteca Nacional, México DF (2010), Palacio Fernandini, Lima (2016), Aleph Projects, Tel Aviv (2017) o el Museo de Bellas Artes de Chile (2017) y ha sido representado por la galería Inés Barrenechea (2010-14). Imparte conferencias en Inglaterra, Colombia, Perú, Holanda, España4 y Alemania y su trabajo ha sido seleccionado y premiado por Transmediale, (2011), United Creators Awards (2009), Loop Barcelona (2010, 2015-17), la Bienal de Artes Mediales de Chile (2017) o Art Lima (2016). Actualmente vive y trabaja en Madrid y es miembro del la agencia internacional de artistas y teóricos Front Views en Berlín. Mit Borrás está representado en Alemania por Exgirlfriend Gallery y en Israel y Francia por Aleph Projects.
MIT BORRAS – Coordination
BFA from the UCM (Madrid) and specialised in Kunst – und Kulturmanagement in Berlin, he developed his research in Media Art at the Twente University in Enschede (2006). During this period, he was closely involved in the Dutch art scene. He then moved to Madrid, where his work became intertwined with the contemporary art scene of the city. He coordinated his role as an artist with the production management of video art festivals and the execution of projects as an independent (art) curator. In 2010, he moved to Berlin for the Glogauair residency and, together with Rachel Lamot, he ran the gallery Fünf Galerie. He has been the coordinator of media art cultural projects and curator at the Instituto Cervantes in Berlin. He currently combines his work with his collaboration as an art critic for the magazine Neo2.
