Jean-Gabriel Périot es un cineasta francés. Vivió en Antibes, Niza y Guadalupe antes de trasladarse a París.
Périot nunca fue a una escuela de cine, sino que estudió medios y comunicación. Mientras trabajaba en el servicio audiovisual del Centre Georges Pompidou, se dedicó a la edición y se familiarizó con los archivos.
Su cineasta favorito son: Dziga Vertov, Michael Haneke, Jean-Luc Godard y Guy Debord.
Actualmente, Périot comparte su tiempo entre París y Niza.
Jean-Gabriel Périot is a French filmmaker. He lived in Antibes, Nice and Guadeloupe before moving to Paris.
Périot never went to a film school, instead he studied media and communication. While working in the audiovisual service at Centre Georges Pompidou he turned to editing and got introduced to archives.
