François Lejault (fra)
Nacido en Tours en 1960, vive y trabaja en Aix-en-Provence.
Videoartista y profesor de la escuela de bellas artes de Aix-en-Provence.
Después de sus estudios en la escuela de arte, François Lejault insta a instalaciones de trabajo y videos. Su interés por la representación del cuerpo le llevará a trabajar con varios coreógrafos en la realización de muchas videodanzas con Mary Helen Desmaris y Bernard Menaut. Dirige una investigación paralela sobre ficción interactiva.
Desde 2003 produjo videos que incluyen actuaciones de Thierry Bae, coreógrafo.
Su producción también se destina al documental y estos experimentos con la residencia en el hospital psiquiátrico de Aix-en-Provence y recientemente después de un viaje de dos meses al chamán Naxi de Yunnan.
Su trabajo en video se ha mostrado en muchos festivales internacionales. Las creaciones con Thierry Bae obtuvieron un gran éxito (Festival d’Avignon …).

After his studies in art school, François Lejault urges work facilities and videos. His interest in the representation of the body will lead to work with several choreographers in realizing many videodance with Mary Helen Desmaris and Bernard Menaut.
