Entre las muchas consecuencias del cambio climático está el aumento de los incendios forestales. Cada año, millones de hectáreas son devastadas por estos incendios, destruyendo toda la vida animal y vegetal en zonas estratégicas e imprescindibles para el equilibrio del planeta. El aumento de las temperaturas y la ausencia de lluvias son el caldo de cultivo de esta amenaza que nos acecha cada verano.
Esta obra muestra la palabra futuro hecha madera, y ardiendo. De forma performativa y metafórica, el vídeo refleja la dependencia del ser humano de los bosques, porque si se destruyen no habrá capacidad para la vida en la tierra, no habrá futuro.
Among the many consequences of climate change is the increase in wildfires. Every year, millions of hectares are devastated by these fires, destroying all animal and plant life in strategic areas that are essential for the balance of the planet. The increase in temperatures and the absence of rain are the breeding grounds for this threat that stalks us every summer.
This work shows the word future made of wood, and burning. In a performative and metaphorical way, the video reflects the dependence of human beings on forests, because if they are destroyed there will be no capacity for life on earth, there will be no future.
