Eunice Artur
Lives and works in Lisbon. Graduated in Visual Arts by ESAD.CR and Master in Contemporary Artistic Creation by UA with the thesis ‘Errância Nómada – o desenho como reencontro de um lugar’, 2017. Was resident artist in Biennale Internationale du Lin de Portneuf in Québec, where she has developed an investigation on wandering around and travelling. In 2017 she wins the 1st Prémio Instituto Confúcio, in the category of art, Lendas da China. Collaborated on the paper ‘ Sound as a medium, the performer as a medium’ in the International Conference Electroacoustic Winds 2017: Synchresis – Audio Vision Tales, a conference centred in the relation between sound and image. She works with photography, sound, drawing, video, sculpture, installation and performance and has been present in several individual and collective in Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece and Canada.
