Projects
2005 Founded Le Cube – independent art room, Rabat / Morocco Co-founded Morocco’s first contemporary artist’s collective, Le Collectif212 Managed the Collectif and organised its group/solo exhibition program.
2006 Created the Artist in Residence program at Le Cube for international and local artists in collaboration with cultural institutions in Morocco and abroad. Since its inception Le Cube’s Residency Program has hosted some 80 artists from 15 countries focusing on assisting creative development and exhibition at Le Cube.
2011 Created the “Summer’s Lab”, a project supporting experimental artistic creation and that focused on scaffolding the careers of emerging/young Moroccan artists.
2012 Member of the organization committee for project PLPAC (Proposition pour un Laboratoire des Pratiques Artistiques et Curatoriales), a project supporting new artistic and curatorial practices in Morocco.
2013 Participation at Supermarket Independent Art Fair, Stockholm, Curated the Austrian-Moroccan art project BINATNA/About Traces
2014 Participation at Marrakech Biennale and Kunstvlaai Amsterdam, Organised international conference MENA: A Norden project dealing with the situation of contemporary art in Morocco in collaboration with artscabinet and the Mimeta Foundation.
2015 Publication of the 10th anniversary edition of Le Cube. Awarded the Golden Medal for to the Republic of Austria.
2016 Participation at Poppositions, Brussels and YIA (Young International Artists Fair) Paris.
2017 Jury member for the BJCEM Biennale des Jeunes créateurs de L’Europe et de la Méditerranée for Morocco
Curator of the international project “Attokoussy” on rituels and beliefs in Morocco in Rabat and Vienna (Galerie Hinterland, Philomena+), co-curated by Gabrielle Camuset
2018 Curator of the international exhibitions “interspaces” at the Künstlerhaus Klagenfurt / Austria.
2018/2019 Curator of the regional art and residence project “travelling narratives” with partners in North Africa, co-curated by Gabrielle Camuset.
