La mentira no descubierta es un proyecto basado en la tensión entre la verdad y la mentira.
La consecuencia de las imágenes crea una nueva asociación entre el contenido verbal y el visual. Aquí está la mentira.
El video se basa en una degresión cromática de las imágenes, vaciadas de su significado.
Nuestros ojos ya no pueden ver la realidad. Con el desarrollo de las tecnologías, lo real se ha vestido con colores más vívidos, contrasta más eficiente y posee volúmenes más tangibles.
La mentira no descubierta es una instalación de video de dos canales. La secuencia de los videos de archivo muestra la realidad inalterada, y al mismo tiempo estamos hipnotizados por el ritmo cromático. Esta pantalla muestra lo real en su primera mentira: el color.
Este proyecto ha sido realizado en colaboración con Chiara Iacovone, PhD en Estudios Urbanos en el Politecnico di Torino.
Undiscovered lie is a project based on the tension between truth and untruth.
The result of the images creates a new association between both the verbal and the visual content. Here stands the lie.
The video is built on a chromatic degression of the images, emptied of their meaning.
Our eyes are no longer able to see the reality. Due to the technology development, the real has dressed in more vivid colours, more efficient contrasts and more tangible volumes.
Undiscovered lie is a two channel video installation. The sequence of the archived videos shows the unaltered reality, and at the same time we are hypnotized by the chromatic rhythm. This screen shows what is real at its first lie: the colour.
This project has been made in collaboration with Chiara Iacovone, PhD in Urban Studies at Politecnico di Torino.
We are an Italian visual artist and an architect. We work together with video and photography. We live and work in Turin, Italy
