Artista e investigador especializado en el área de la representación fotográfica, obtiene la maestría en Artes Digitales por parte de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra y la maestría en Artes Visuales dentro de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Obtiene diversos reconocimientos como el Premio Nacional de Arte Joven en el 2002, la Bienal Nacional de Arte Visual Universitario 2003, así como la mención honorífica en el Festival Internacional de la Imagen en Colombia en el 2008, es ganador del premio Podium en Austria durante el 2008, en el 2013 recibe la mención honorífica en el Festival Black and White de Portugal. Ha realizado diversas residencias artísticas entre las que destacan Hangar en Barcelona, Fiskars-Finlandia y en Salzburg-Austria. Su trabajo ha sido publicado en La Camara de Pandora de Joan Founcuberta y (READY) MEDIA del Laboratorio de Arte Alameda.
