This video is part of the ASIAN PROTOCOLS project that the artist started in 2014 and showed for the first time in the Total Museum in Beijing that year. In this project, he highlights on similarities, differences and conflicts between Korea(The Republic of Korea), China(The People’s Republic of China) and Japan through massive research images. However it is about a work-in-progress artwork and it has evolved since then as it has been seen through the several exhibitions he has done in Korea, Japan and China of this project. But the video “What are your concerns?” is the most recent artwork within the frame of the project. The question is addressed to all kinds of individuals the artist finds in the streets of a city like Beijing. It is interesting to see which are the answers and who are they, the people who answer to the camera.
