Angelina Voskopoulou (gre)
Angelina Voskopoulou vive en Atenas, Grecia.
Está graduada (BA con Distinción) en Bellas Artes y Tecnología y tiene una Maestría en Artes Digitales (Universidad de las Artes de Londres). Da clases en el centro cultural de Atenas (dipeap) Arte y Nuevos Medios. También está trabajando en sus propios videos, así como esculturas hechas de poliéster.
Algunas de sus obras de arte de los últimos años se han centrado en el «movimiento mínimo».
Su trabajo reciente se centra en los significados del espacio vacío. A través de su trabajo de video, trata de «˜grabar» el significado y la «˜imagen» que tiene el vacío. Además, quiere mostrar la calidad del espacio vacío y su valor. Cada uno de sus vídeos presenta conceptos diferentes pero la idea central sigue siendo siempre la misma, la que define lo que es un espacio vacío.
Recientemente ha creado un grupo teatral llamado ‘flujo continuo’ que se basa en la danza japonesa «˜Butoh». En sus actuaciones utilizan medios mixtos (danza en vivo + videoarte + música experimental).
Desde 2010, colabora con el grupo musical The Sons, de Derby, Inglaterra.
Generalmente en sus obras de arte trata de mostrar las emociones que siente en ella y la emoción que siente en los demás.
Angelina Voskopoulou lives in Athens, Greece.
She is a graduate (BA with Distinction) in Fine Arts and Technology and has a Master of Digital Arts (London University of the Arts). She teaches Art and New Media at the cultural center of Athens (dipeap). She is also working on her own videos, as well as sculptures made of polyester.
Some of her artwork in recent years has focused on «minimal movement.»
Her recent work focuses on the meanings of empty space. Through her video work, she tries to «˜record» the meaning and the «˜image» that emptiness has. Also, she wants to show the quality of the empty space and its value. Each of her videos presents different concepts but the central idea of her remains always the same, the one that defines what an empty space is.
She recently she has created a theater group called ‘continuous flow’ which is based on the Japanese dance «˜Butoh». In her performances they use mixed media (live dance + video art + experimental music).
Since 2010, she has collaborated with the musical group The Sons, from Derby, England.
Generally in her artwork she tries to show the emotions that she feels in herself and the emotion that she feels in others.
