Alejandro Manzano (Madrid, 1997) es un artista multidisciplinario con una sólida formación en Bellas Artes, adquirida en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y la Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK Hamburg). En 2021, fue seleccionado para la VII Edición de MASTER.LAV, un prestigioso programa avanzado de investigación y producción artística. Su carrera se enriqueció aún más en septiembre de 2022, cuando se trasladó a Venecia para realizar prácticas profesionales en la Colección Peggy Guggenheim y trabajar como asistente de galería para Nadja Romain.
La práctica artística de Alejandro Manzano se centra en el concepto de collage y el uso del azar, combinando diversos elementos y medios para generar obras que invitan a nuevas lecturas sobre problemáticas tanto personales como colectivas. Al entrelazar diferentes narrativas y materiales, Alejandro explora las fronteras de la percepción y la interpretación, fomentando una interacción dinámica que permite descubrir múltiples capas de significado.
Alejandro Manzano (Madrid, 1997) is a multidisciplinary artist with a solid training in Fine Arts, acquired at the Complutense University of Madrid and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK Hamburg). In 2021, it was selected for the VII Edition of MASTER.LAV, a prestigious advanced artistic research and production program. Her career was further enriched in September 2022, when she moved to Venice to intern at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and work as a gallery assistant for Nadja Romain.
Alejandro Manzano’s artistic practice focuses on the concept of collage and the use of chance, combining various elements and media to generate works that invite new readings on both personal and collective problems. By interweaving different narratives and materials, Alejandro explores the frontiers of perception and interpretation, fostering a dynamic interaction that allows multiple layers of meaning to be discovered.
