Since its launch, AFAC\u2019s programs have steadily expanded to cover cinema, photography, visual and performing arts, creative and critical writings, music, documentary film, in addition to funding research, trainings and cultural events. Based in Beirut, AFAC works with artists and organizations all over the Arab region and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Soleil<\/strong> joined AFAC in 2017 as a Grants manager for the Visual Arts, Documentary Film, Cinema and Music programs; before that she worked at CIEL, a book distribution company, as a Book Buyer from 2008 until 2014. In 2014, Soleil she moved to Egypt where she became heavily involved in the local independent music scene there.
