Jaume Pitarch is a Catalan artist who lives and works in Barcelona. In 1993 he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Chelsea College of Art, London, and in 1995 he obtained a Master\u2019s degree from the Royal College of Art, London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He works on the question of loss as a consubstantial aspect in the human being. He usually works with man-made elements. Elements that have helped you to get an idea of \u200b\u200byourself and the world around you. Disassemble and rebuild the elements to create new works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has had numerous exhibitions at an international as well as a national level, among them we can highlight the individual exhibitions he has had in: \u00c0ngels Barcelona (2013, 2009, 2004,1997); Gallery F\u00facares, Madrid (2013, 2008); Spencer Brownstone Gallery, New York (2013, 2009, 2006) or Galerija Vartai, Lithuania, 2011. Her work has been selected for group exhibitions in galleries and institutions such as: Cristina Guerra Arte Contempor\u00e1neo, Portugal; Artium; MASS MoCA, Massachusets; Manifests; Santa M\u00f3nica Art Center, Barcelona; Fondation Maeght, Saint Paul, France; Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Art Contemporain, Lyon; Carr\u00e9 d\u2019Art Contemporain, Nimes or MACBA, Barcelona, among others.
