As Time Swallows Time es el primer largometraje de El Ultimo Grito, encargado para la Bienal BIO28 de Liubliana y dirigido por Rosario Hurtado, Roberto Feo y Stuart Bannocks. Conocidos por su trabajo en la intersecci\u00f3n entre el dise\u00f1o, la arquitectura y los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, este proyecto ampl\u00eda su exploraci\u00f3n en curso de los l\u00edmites del lenguaje cinematogr\u00e1fico a trav\u00e9s de lo que ellos denominan filmoides: obras
h\u00edbridas multimedia y espaciales que funcionan como pel\u00edculas sin ce\u00f1irse a la forma cinematogr\u00e1fica convencional.

Esta obra surge de un di\u00e1logo con el tema curatorial de la Bienal, \u201cDo You Speak Flower?\u201d, comisariada por Alexandra Midal. El tema investiga los contextos hist\u00f3ricos en los que las mujeres se han vinculado simb\u00f3licamente a las flores \u2014s\u00edmbolos de fragilidad, sensualidad y cosificaci\u00f3n\u2014 y c\u00f3mo esas asociaciones han sido reivindicadas y subvertidas. En lugar de interpretar este tema de forma directa, lo ponen en di\u00e1logo con otra l\u00ednea narrativa: una exploraci\u00f3n especulativa del tiempo y la percepci\u00f3n temporal, extra\u00edda de su metaverso en desarrollo, creado en obras anteriores como Earth: A Retrospective (Valencia, 2022- 23) y Visitants (Madrid, 2024).

El resultado es una pel\u00edcula construida a partir de la yuxtaposici\u00f3n de fragmentos narrativos, escenas superpuestas de tal manera que invitan a los espectadores a construir el significado a trav\u00e9s de su propio recorrido por la pel\u00edcula. Al igual que una instalaci\u00f3n espacial, As Time Swallows Time se resiste a la progresi\u00f3n lineal y, en su lugar, produce una especie de \u201cefecto Kuleshov\u201d narrativo, en el que las asociaciones surgen en los
huecos entre las historias m\u00e1s que dentro de ellas.
Crearon este filmoide como un experimento en el lenguaje en expansi\u00f3n del cine, donde la narrativa, la instalaci\u00f3n y la ficci\u00f3n especulativa chocan entre s\u00ed.
