La cinta muestra la vida de un grupo de personas con deformidades f\u00edsicas en un circo ambulante o Freak Show. Personas que consideradas freaks (monstruos), hacen de su condici\u00f3n un modo de ganarse la vida mostr\u00e1ndose al p\u00fablico como seres al margen de la normalidad. La pel\u00edcula de Browning cuestiona los l\u00edmites de lo que entendemos por normalidad, para presentarnos la idea del monstruo o freak, como una construcci\u00f3n social sujeta a estereotipos o condicionantes preestablecidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glitch Show propone interrogar la idea de normalidad y lo monstruoso en el contexto de un mundo digital y marcado por las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, relacionando el \u201cglitch\u201d, como anomal\u00eda o distorsi\u00f3n de datos en contextos digitales, con el imaginario \u201cfreak\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El t\u00edtulo de la videoinstalaci\u00f3n \u201cGlitch Show\u201d, hace referencia a los \u201cfreak shows\u201d, present\u00e1ndose como uno de esos espect\u00e1culos de seres an\u00f3malos, donde pueden verse diferentes fen\u00f3menos digitales que cuestionan la idea de lo normativo, o lo monstruoso. Para la construcci\u00f3n del contenido de la pieza se ha contado con material ya existente en la red, y con material intervenido mediante inteligencia artificial, con el objetivo de interrogar cu\u00e1l es la perspectiva de la AI frente a la idea de monstruo y belleza. De este modo aspectos como la banalizaci\u00f3n de la violencia, o los l\u00edmites de la normalidad en la l\u00ednea que separa al observador de lo observado, se hacen presentes en una videoinstalaci\u00f3n que hace al espectador part\u00edcipe del show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glitch Show, toma como punto de partida la pel\u00edcula Freaks (La Parada de los Monstruos), de Tod Browning (1932).
