Se proyecta una pel\u00edcula en una pantalla de 6 metros de largo. El espacio entre la pantalla y el proyector est\u00e1 ocupado por entre 7 y 11 \u00e1rboles. Es un bosque de \u00e1rboles sin ra\u00edces que est\u00e1n muriendo lentamente. Los \u00e1rboles proyectan sombras sobre la pantalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La actuaci\u00f3n comienza cuando empieza la pel\u00edcula. El int\u00e9rprete comienza a sintonizar una radio. La radio se amplifica mediante un micr\u00f3fono. Se canaliza el sonido del ruido y la m\u00fasica. Es la b\u00fasqueda de \u00abesp\u00edritus\u00bb en el aqu\u00ed y ahora. Despu\u00e9s de la radio, el int\u00e9rprete se mueve hacia el frente. El sonido de un ca\u00f1onazo anuncia una nueva parte de la actuaci\u00f3n. El int\u00e9rprete saca un cuchillo y se acerca al p\u00fablico. Es la encarnaci\u00f3n de la historia colonial. Despu\u00e9s de que la pel\u00edcula muestre el sacrificio de un b\u00fafalo, el int\u00e9rprete talar\u00e1 lentamente el bosque. La actuaci\u00f3n termina cuando el barco comienza a navegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En esta videoperformance, la artista neerlandesa Tosca Schift aborda la memoria colonial y sus persistencias en el presente a trav\u00e9s del cuerpo, la imagen en movimiento y la transformaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica del espacio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
