The work allows you to experience the sensations from the point of view of these beings. Also, this practice is a great tradition in the culture and the collective imagination of people of the Caribbean coast, the point of inspiration for a vallenato (El Mochuelo), a piece of folklore that narrates the suffering of a Mochuelo (native bird) of Montes de Mar\u00eda) to give joy to a woman, as a gift and a sign of affection from her suitor. The work is composed of 360 immersive videos that record different landscapes of Cartagena (city of the Colombian Caribbean) seen from a cage (projected from some glasses vr), an electroacoustic composition created from songs of Meri\u00f1e or old rosita, mare tomb, backpacks and canaries reproduced in surround speakers in artisan cages and a live activation through a set with accordion by Lil Letona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This work was presented in October 2018 at the MAMU Museum of Art of the Bank of the Republic of Bogot\u00e1, within the framework of the exhibition Polysemy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The work seeks to create an area of immersion, which is transmitted to the viewer, feel the experience, live the<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":17118,"template":"","meta":[],"movie_genre":[220,549],"movie_tag":[847,848],"class_list":["post-17123","movie","type-movie","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","movie_genre-video-installation","movie_genre-vr-360o-en","movie_tag-2019-en","movie_tag-festival-2019-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
