{"id":16967,"date":"2025-11-29T15:57:33","date_gmt":"2025-11-29T14:57:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/proyector.info\/work\/yet-another-departure\/"},"modified":"2025-11-29T15:59:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-29T14:59:57","slug":"yet-another-departure","status":"publish","type":"movie","link":"https:\/\/proyector.info\/en\/work\/yet-another-departure\/","title":{"rendered":"Yet Another Departure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flagship of the Yugoslav navy \u201cVis\u201d was sunk on 22 May 2016 in the cove Polje near Premantura village on the Istrian peninsula, near the Brijuni islands.<br>From 1947 to 1980 president and marshal Josip Broz Tito made the Brijuni Islands his personal official summer residence.<br>Almost 100 foreign heads of state as well as film stars visited him on these islands.<br>In mid-July 1956, President of Egypt Gamal Abdel Nasser, Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, and President of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito met on the spot to discuss their opposition to the Cold War. These ideas later led to the Non aligned Movement.<br>On Brijuni there is also a natural history collection relating to this period with about two hundred stuffed animals from all over the world, which visitors to the islands donated to Tito.<br>\u201cVis\u201d was built in 1953 in the shipyard Uljanik, on it the supreme commander of the navy \u2013 admiral would reside as well as the top government officials including Tito.<br>\u201cVis\u201d is 58 m long and 8.5 m wide. The hull is made of steel, while the deck is constructed of aluminium and covered with up to six inches of teak. The ship has two thousand-horsepower engines which allow the ship to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.<br>After \u201cVis \u201dwas on a fixed mooring in the Bay of Kotor, in 2002 an entrepreneur from Pula bought it with the intention of redecorating it into a luxurious yacht to be rented to wealthy tourists.
