\u201cRelato\u201d is a made-up story based on the name of a salt-exploitation site in this coastal village: Salinas del Alem\u00e1n. The story tells the arrival of a mysterious sailor at the village of Isla in the search for the love of a beautiful woman called Tamara. The blond and pale \u201cGerman\u201d is actually a troubled Dutchman, cursed for many centuries, whose only cure is the dying love of a woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The text is a free adaptation of the opera \u201cThe Flying Dutchman\u201d (Richard Wagner, 1841) and the film \u201cPandora and the Flying Dutchman\u201d (Albert Lewin, 1951), which includes Andalusian stereotypes related to the seafaring world. Between the years 1960 and 1970, the philosopher, sociologist and historian Michel Foucault (1926-1984, France) coined the concept \u201cBiopolitics\u201d, which questions the boundaries of power and discusses individual liberties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
