While there are specific dates loaded with collective significance, recorded in the community archives, the personal experiences occurring daily and hourly belong to us individually. In this manner, we attribute meaning and content to our own time. The number of drawings corresponds to the days of the year, plus one for leap years. The paintings and drawings comprising this collection span disparate and distant times (1962-2016). They form a compilation that seeks to approach spontaneity through the experiential.

This collection serves as a graphic memoir, akin to an autobiography, complemented by excerpts from authors whose books inhabit our homes. The selection of text fragments aims to spotlight the plasticity or latent gaze within certain stories, while in others, it captures the intimate atmospheres or voices of the neighbourhood. It outlines a small anthology of existential journeys, conveying that days pass in silence, yet not devoid of sound.
